Updated: May 20, 2026
Welcome to the Assisted Living Nurse Care Services/North Star Institute LLC Terms of Use agreement.
Please review these Terms of Use carefully before accessing, purchasing, enrolling in, or using any online training, course materials, services, or content offered through this website.
If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in their entirety, you may not access, purchase, enroll in, or use the Site, the Service, or any online training offered by Assisted Living Nurse Care Services/North Star Institute LLC.
For purposes of this agreement, “Site” refers to the Company’s website, which can be accessed at northstartraininginstitute.com. “Service” refers to the Company’s services accessed through the Site, including online training, course content, educational materials, assignments, quizzes, certificates, communication tools, and related services. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Assisted Living Nurse Care Services/North Star Institute LLC. “You” refers to you, as a user, purchaser, student, participant, or visitor of the Site or Service.
By accessing, purchasing, enrolling in, or using the Site or Service, you signify your agreement to these Terms of Use.
PAYMENT, REFUND, AND TRANSFER POLICY
All payments for online training courses, including the 80 Hours Managers Training Course, are final.
Course payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Course access is assigned only to the registered student who purchased or was enrolled in the course. Course access, login credentials, assignments, certificates, training records, and course participation may not be transferred, sold, shared, or reassigned to another person.
By purchasing or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for completing the course within the access period provided for that specific course. Failure to complete the course within the allowed access period does not create a right to a refund, transfer, credit, or extension unless an extension is approved in writing by Assisted Living Nurse Care Services/North Star Institute LLC.
COURSE ACCESS AND COMPLETION
Online course access may be limited to a specific access period depending on the course purchased or assigned.
The 80 Hours Managers Training Course must be completed within 90 days from the date of enrollment or payment, unless an extension is approved in writing by Assisted Living Nurse Care Services/North Star Institute LLC.
The 90-day access period applies specifically to the 80 Hours Managers Training Course and does not automatically apply to all other courses offered by the Company.
Other courses may have different access periods, completion requirements, expiration dates, or access rules. Course-specific requirements may be listed on the course page, product page, enrollment notice, notification email, or other written course instructions.
Students are responsible for reviewing and following the instructions for the course in which they are enrolled. This may include completing required videos, lessons, topics, quizzes, assignments, uploads, pre-test requirements, final exams, or other required course activities within the access period provided for that specific course.
Completion of a course may require more than watching videos. Some lessons or subjects may require assignment uploads, written work, participation in course communication, completion tracking, or other required steps before the student may move forward.
Failure to complete required course steps, assignments, uploads, quizzes, pre-tests, final exams, or other course requirements may delay or prevent course completion and certificate issuance.
Failure to complete the 80 Hours Managers Training Course within the 90-day access period does not create a right to a refund, transfer, credit, or extension unless an extension is approved in writing by Assisted Living Nurse Care Services/North Star Institute LLC.
