North Star Training Institute offers professional consulting for Maryland assisted living providers — from licensing and level-of-care requests to survey readiness and policy development. Practical, regulation-grounded help from people who run programs, not just read about them.

• Level of Care Increase Requests — preparation of the complete documentation package OHCQ requires (staffing, training, and policies) for a Level 2 or Level 3 request.
• Plan of Correction Preparation — professional survey-response drafting that addresses each cited deficiency the way reviewers expect.
• OHCQ Licensing Application Guidance — new applications and renewals, walked through correctly the first time.
• Policy & Procedure Development — facility policies written to current COMAR 10.07.14 requirements.
• Mock Survey & Compliance Readiness Review — find the findings before the surveyor does.
• Staff Training Program Consultation — building or strengthening your in-house training to meet regulatory requirements.
• General Operations Consultation — admissions, staffing plans, resident agreements, records, and day-to-day compliance questions.

Consultation: $100 per hour. Defined-deliverable projects (such as a Level of Care Increase package or a Plan of Correction) are quoted as flat-rate packages after a brief initial consultation.
